Holly Matteo

Dr. Holly Matteo grew up in a widespread farming community in Southern New Jersey in an area where two staple crops, blueberries and cranberries continue to supply most of the East Coast.  While attending Rutgers University Holly lived at home and worked part time as an EMT and also volunteered with her local emergency squad, the Shamong EMS, of which she was a founding member.  Over the course of six years, she was a highly dedicated member of the Shamong EMS logging over 20,000 hours of volunteer time.  This while carrying a full time schedule in Rutgers Pre-Med program, working 10-15 hours a week as a paid EMT and spending the remaining time with her future husband, Dr. Sean Matteo.

After graduating from Rutgers, Dr. Matteo pursued her dream of becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic when she enrolled at Logan College of Chiropractic, and moved to St. Louis Missouri.  After completing her studies at Logan and passing all of her National Board Exams, she moved with her husband to Hilton Head Island, SC where they established their practice, Matteo Family Chiropractic, which has happily served their area for 10 years.

Dr. Matteo is a stay at home Mom to three beautiful children, a Wife, a Doctor and an owner of 2 life altering businesses.  Motherhood has changed her forever and now her children are her passion and the #1 thing in her life.  Her Children are the “why” that drive her to do what she does.  She is strong in her faith and takes an active part in her local and church community, as well as her children’s school community.
