Grass Fed Grass Finished Tacos for Dinner!
We all know Tacos is a family favorite for most. It can be a go to meal, for a quick dinner right? Being a Chiropractor and a mom of three small children, that is how I think: First is it healthy, second is it quick. I buy almost all Organic, but after I learn more and more, I have started to go beyond the Organic mindset. So this was my first take on Beyond Organic Tacos.
First I bought the Garden of Eatin Taco Dinner Kits. Which is the best I could find at our Kroger. We do not have a Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods like store here on Hilton Head Island or in Bluffton, South Carolina.
Next I took my Beyond Organic Beef and Browned it with some Organic Coconut Oil
Added in some of the Taco Seasoning that came with the kit, and added in a pinch of fresh Basil. I have made my own seasonings before, which I keep in a container, but today I did use the packet.
Next I added in two tablespoons of Raw Honey, for sweetness. My children do not like food too spicy, so to tone it down, Honey does the trick. No sugar.

Now Before I go any further, I will tell you this meat was the best Organic Grass Fed Meat, I had ever tasted. As I was cooking, I of course was tasting it. The First thing I had noticed was the meat tasted different than the store bought grass fed beef. Beyond Organic’s Beef seemed to have a softer smoother texture and melted in your mouth.
Organic Greens for Tacos
So next I chopped up some Organic Greens for the topping. My children are not big fans of Tomatoes so they are left out.
Beyond Organic Raw Cheddar Cheese
Next I shredded some Raw Beyond Organic Cheddar, this was what took this meal over the edge to Beyond Awesome!

Next Put it all together with a dollop of Organic Sour Cream and it was Perfect.
The Best Part of the Three Children my middle one is the pickiest, he loved these Tacos. And as many of the moms out there know when you have a picky eater, it’s tough, but when you find something beyond organic that they love, your heart it happy and you are jumping for joy!
